There's a reason the photo of this couple is going mega-viral. Marine Cpl. Caleb Earwood and his fiancee Maggie were about to walk down the aisle, but they had one very important thing to do first.
"We were about to take our first steps in life together, and we didn't want to take a step without it being in God's will," Calen told Today.com. "I prayed to God for my beautiful and intelligent wife that he blessed me with and the amazing family I was marrying into."
"It relieved me to know the person I was getting ready to marry felt the same way about God," Maggie said.
Photographer Dwanye Schmidt captured Caleb and Maggie praying hand-in-hand, but with their eyes closed and their bodies separated by a hallway corner so they wouldn't see each other until Maggie walked down the aisle.
The photo has already received 45,000 likes and over 7,000 shares on Facebook.
"Beautiful picture," writes Rebecca Helms. "It brought tears to my eyes. The bride is showing some raw emotion and love. You captured how affected she was by his words!!!!"
"This is a great way to start on a journey together," Darlene Taylor adds.
"This is an Honor to our Creator, the only way to begin a relationship, so touching!" says Judith Chalmers.
