Some corners of the internet can just be a dark, cruel place. Trolls use the anonymity to attack others, like the British "Dancing Man" who was fat-shamed and mocked by users on the message board 4chan.
"Spotted this specimen trying to dance the other week. He stopped when he saw us laughing," the poster said.
But Sean "Dancing Man" O'Brien got the last laugh. When the story first broke, people sent the then-anonymous "Dancing Man" positive messages of support over social media. And once he was identified, the world decided to throw him a party where he could show the world his moves.
It all culminated in a massive dance party in Hollywood, where Sean was joined by fans and supporters - including rock star - and the host of TheBlaze Radio's newest show - Andrew W.K.

Moby, Pharrel, and even Monica Lewinsky also attended the party.
No one should ever have to endure the public shaming Sean had to deal with, but the story certainly had a happy ending. And it sure sounds like Sean was excited to have so many positive experiences come out of a bad situation.
"It was daunting at first. I was a bit worried about how it all happened but it's turned into the most wonderful journey, I've met some of the most wonderful people you can imagine," Sean told 'Good Morning America'.
Sean also got to show his moves off to a national audience. He joined singer Meghan Trainor on 'Today Show' Friday for their Toyota Concert Series.
