Warning: This story contains strong language
We may love actors and actresses in movies and on TV, but we don’t always love what they say in their spare time. Case in point with actress Rose McGowan, best known for her role as Paige in the show 'Charmed'. McGowan posted a made-up quote about Ted Cruz on her Twitter account that was not only incorrect, but also insensitive. See how people reacted to the quote and her baloney apology.
May 24th, McGowan took to Twitter to post this image and quote:
You are blight on the soul of humanity. Get off of my planet. #TedCruz #fuckwits #rapists #criminals pic.twitter.com/lC8xtYVBYS
— rose mcgowan (@rosemcgowan) May 24, 2015
Only one giant problem, the quote is fake. People immediately started tweeting McGowan, letting her know that the quote was indeed a fraud, but she did not take the criticism too fondly...
I could give a fuck RT @FlyoverCulture: @rosemcgowan THe "quote" you cited is a fraud. Check Snopes. #WaitingForApology

And when she did finally issue an "apology" it wasn't exactly what one that many people would accept as being genuine. At all.
I'm sorry I said #TedCruz liked child molesters. Ok? No go back to hating gays. Fuckwits.

For someone who claims to be a "liberated human being," she is sure being extremely judgmental and quick to release misinformation.
Pat and Jeffy discussed it on radio today. Jeffy was just so (insert sarcasm) thrilled with McGowan’s sincere apology that he suddenly became a giant fan, saying, “I have become such a fan. Can’t wait—going to back and watch some of her episodes on Charmed.”
But, Pat really hit the nail on the head with explaining the real reason why this story is newsworthy, saying, “Hollywood actresses like Rose McGowan -- I'm so sick of these Hollywood lunatics who spout their communist propaganda, their progressive agenda, they vilify and demonize anybody who do not agree with absolutely everything they say, and they get zero consequences from it. Nothing ever happens to them. Nothing. They go scot-free every time. And it's because we won't boycott. We just -- the right simply -- we won't do it -- you know, mindless moronic zombies like Rose McGowan who don't know their hoo-ha from their what-not, they spew whatever poison they want. They don't have to apologize. They just move on. And they go on with their careers, and they do the next TV show or voiceover for a video game, in Rose McGowan's case.”
Take a listen to Pat and Jeffy discuss below, do you think she should have issued a better apology?
