When Bruce Jenner announced he was transgender and began a transformation into Caitlyn Jenner, many stood up and called him brave. But is that really the modern definition of “bravery”? Look at the people being slaughtered in the Middle East because they refuse to abandon their Christianity. Why are they forgotten, while a sensationalistic story like Caitlyn Jenner dominating the news?
"As I wrote this thing that I read on the air today, as I wrote that over the weekend, there was one line that I wrote that it felt so right to me, and that is the way we’re taking Caitlyn Jenner and now redefining bravery and saying he’s brave or she’s brave, and then we dismiss the father who emailed me who said my children in Erbil, I was told by ISIS that I had to tell them that my children would become Muslim or they would kill my children," Glenn said.
"He went to the priest and said what do I do? The priest said God understands, save your children. So, that’s what the priest told him. He goes back. ISIS comes in. He can’t even speak because all of his children say Jesus Christ. And they kill his children. That’s bravery. That’s bravery. We’re to this point to where I think we have to say if we can’t say these things, our citizenship becomes an indictment, not an honor or a privilege. Now is the time that we have to start saying bull crap. No, that’s not true. I won’t say that. I won’t remain quiet anymore. No, I won’t go down any farther with you."
