MSNBCs anchor breaks down when a whole crowd of people come singing 'gospel music'.
We just left Charleston SC. Powerful people. It was palpable.
Between 300 and 800 people showed up today and shared an hour holding each other up. Showing support and more important showing love.
Charleston is truly the 'holy City' or at least it felt that way today. With my wife, Rabbi Kula from NYC and Bishop Lowe from Birmingham Al arm in arm, we prayed, brought flowers, cried, laughed and hugged A LOT! :)
Little did we know MSNBCÂ was live when we arrived and began to sing.
What makes this so wonderful is the fact that he didn't know it was us. Most likely no one did. We weren't there for anything else but to show the world the light of Christ in Charleston.
This anchor felt it.
AMEN!
Something has begun and it has nothing to do with politics. It has everything to do with LOVE.
