Pat and Stu have declared the radio program a “Trump Free Zone”. In an unrelated story, a GOP presidential candidate who we won’t name was caught on tape saying they think the economy has traditionally been stronger under Democrats. We won’t say who, but that refusal to name names probably has nothing to do with our refusal to talk about Donald Trump.
Someone not named Donald Trump said, "You would be shocked if I said in many cases I probably identify more as a Democrat. And it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans. Now, it shouldn't be that way. But if you go back, I mean, it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats."
There is no way someone hoping to be the Republican nominee - especially not Donald Trump (who we aren't mentioning) - would say something like that.
Listen to the shocking gaffe from a presidential candidate who could not possibly be Donald Trump in this highlight from today's radio show.
