Glenn couldn't help but click on a story someone shared with him on Facebook this week. The article discussed a prophecy pointing to Donald Trump as a person chosen to fulfill God's plans and purposes.
How could this even be fathomable?
Listen to the story and Glenn's reaction below.
Below is a rush transcript of this segment, it may contain errors.
By the way, while we're here, I read something quite interesting: Is Donald Trump God's trumpet? Is Trump the trumpet? I had to click on this. It was posted on my wall on my Facebook page, and I had to click on this.
In his great wisdom, throughout the course of human history, God has chosen not only to fulfill his plans and purposes through men and women who have yielded to the sound of his voice, but he has also chosen to accomplish his will through men and women who have ignored and even rebelled against him.
One such man was King Cyrus mentioned in Isaiah. What powerful and profound prophetic declaration to a man who did not know how to serve the Lord. Could God not use the wicked and ungodly to bring about his plans and purposes thousands of years ago? Could he not do the same thing in this crisis today?
We were in a prayer, the article goes on, several weeks ago when God began to speak to us concerning the destiny of Mr. Donald Trump in America. The Holy Spirit spoke and said, Trump shall become my trumpet to the American people, for he possesses qualities that are hard even to find in my people these days.
Trump does not fear man nor will he allow deception and lies to go unnoticed. I'm going to use him to expose darkness and perversion in America like never before.
So the question is, Pat Gray --
PAT: Yes.
GLENN: -- is God using Donald Trump as his trumpet?
PAT: And he's aptly named at that point. Isn't he?
GLENN: What a coincidence?
PAT: Donald Trump, the trumpet? I'm going to say no, but I've been wrong before. But my guess is no. No.
STU: Uh-huh.
PAT: Fairly emphatically, no.
GLENN: Okay. Stu Burguiere, Trump, the trumpet?
STU: No.
GLENN: Jeff Fisher, Trump, the trumpet?
JEFFY: Maybe a coronet, but I don't know about the trumpet.
PAT: Clarinet you mean? Coronet is a towelette. A paper towel.
GLENN: Isn't that what God does? I mean, that is Romans 8:28. All things will work towards my propose.
PAT: Yes.
GLENN: So he could use a very bad guy. I'm not saying Donald Trump is a very bad guy.
