Having been evicted from her home and with no other place to go, Tierra Gray went with her two young sons to the Butler County Sheriff's Office in Hamilton, Ohio last weekend - the only shelter Gray could find to spend the night. Upon realizing the situation the next morning, Deputy Brian Bussell, a 25 year veteran of the department, quietly went above and beyond the call of duty by paying for food, clothing and a 10-day stay at a hotel for the struggling family.
He did all of this unbeknownst to the Sheriff, who later found out from a Facebook message Gray posted, publicly thanking the officer for his kindness.
"I knew God has a reason for everything he does even though we have been going through storm after storm our rainbow sure has come this morning," Gray wrote. "My kids and myself will never forget what God and his Angels had done for us!"
In light of all the recent negativity towards law enforcement in our nation, this story speaks volumes about our nation's first responders. Once again, goodness has prevailed!
