Despite being out of the studio traveling Wednesday, Glenn couldn't stay away from the radio program for long. With Pat and Stu hosting the program in Glenn's absence, Glenn called in to share some interesting points from the Democratic debate, particularly the discovery he made about what appeals to people about Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders.
"I figured out Bernie Sanders. Figured out what his appeal is. And it's not socialism," Glenn said. "It's morality."
He went on to encourage listeners to go back and watch the debate with that in mind.
"Morality becomes a political device," Glenn said. "And if you watch him last night, he spoke more about what was moral and immoral than anybody on the Republican platform. He used those words. What's happening over in X, Y, Z, is just immoral. We have to save the planet because it's the moral thing to do."
