I am so tired tonight. We filmed all day today on stage with our day starting at 6am and I didn't leave the studio lot until 9:30pm.
The good news is, we got a ton done and in doing so, I feel like we made some great progress.
Hard work makes me feel better. It was just the way I was raised.
More work to do tomorrow and we are planning a great radio show as well.
I go to bed so strangely optimistic even though several senators and congressmen wrote to me tonight saying that if the House uses reconciliation to pass anything less than a full repeal of Obamacare the GOP brand will be severely and perhaps irreparably tarnished.
Here is the problem. There is a concern that a full repeal of Obamacare could not garner 218 votes in the House. Can this possibly be true? If so, the GOP is in serious trouble.
Yet while I know this and I know what is happening with Islamists in the Middle East and Europe, plus I know about the economy, over-regulation, our culture rotting from the inside, our cops being targeted as bad guys and our churches remaining silent ---
Somehow, I feel like it is all going to be okay.
I know who "we" are. The large majority of good and decent people will stand together and I have read the end of the book.
I know who wins!
Good night America!
