Glenn responded to the news of Turkey bringing down a Russian warplane this morning on his radio program.
"There are games being played. Russia has been poking Turkey for a while, seeing how far they can get them to bend without breaking. They broke this morning," Glenn said.
Putin called the incident a "stab in the back" by Turkey, which isn't a good thing. To make matters worse, one of the helicopters sent to retrieve the Russian pilot --- who ejected with a parachute prior to the plane crash --- was shot down by Syrian rebels.
"This is not going to end well," Glenn said.
He went on to compare this unravelling situation with events leading up to the previous two World Wars.
Could I ask, what does the world look like at the end of this global war? You see, before World War I, Woodrow Wilson knew we'd be the victor. We'd go from this hickey farm country to the world leader. He knew that before World War I. That's why he pushed for it.
World War II, we didn't want to get into. But we finally were drug into it, and the world changed. And we knew, if we win, we get the monetary system. We'll be the world's gold reserve. We will be the masters of the planet. We had all the advantages going into those two wars. We don't have anything in our favor this time.
Has anybody considered, "What does the world look like after this war?"
