During his radio program Wednesday, Glenn thanked his listeners for all the good times and announced he's finally signing off broadcast.
"Powerball is tonight," he said. "I'm planning on winning."
Good luck, Glenn.
It does beg the question, what would it take to win the grand prize, estimated at $930 million?
The Atlantic ran an interesting thought experiment showing what would happen if someone bought all 292 million possible Powerball combinations. At $2 for each ticket, the article pointed out, it would actually be possible to buy every ticket for $584,402,676 --- which, at first glance, guarantees a profit.
