Cruz Showed Trump as a Complete and Outrageous Liar

It was fun to watch Rubio, who had a good night, and Trump spar tonight.

But, as a man who has clearly argued and won court cases in the Supreme Court, Ted Cruz set up Donald Trump for anyone in the press that cares to dismantle Trump on facts, the record and video sound bytes.

Finally someone has prosecuted him using facts and logic.

Ted put him, clearly and calmly, on record in several places, showing him as a complete and outrageous liar.

Rubio spent time on "he inherited his money" and did a good job, but Cruz set him up like a classic movie attorney.

His tax return prosecution was epic. First it was "two years of audit." Then Cruz got him to say "five years are being audited," yet Trump said that he is "audited every year." Which is it? Two years, five years? Or every year? Follow up press! What is he hiding?

Health care was a knock out on Trump lies. Epic and so easy my eleven-year-old could Google and fact-check. I would bet Tedcruz.org already has it up.

Tomorrow we will take the debate and compare fact with fiction.

He also effectively completely showed Trump as a total insider. "I have no doubt that you know politicians better than any of us." Perfect.

Some say that Trump beat Cruz on the Hillary polls. I strongly disagree.

Cruz according to real clear politics and Fox News does beat Hillary. Donald does not. His case of Trump supporting all of Hillary policies was spot on! Trump cannot prosecute the case against Hillary in the general. We will never beat a shady progressive liar with a shady progressive liar.

The Cruz follow up on Trump university and the charge of fraud was epic!!!

This was the huge Google search tonight - and deadly for Trump in a sane world. The charges against Trump in the $40M suit are horrific and totally believable. They are not small potatoes as we will explain tomorrow on radio. They are breathtaking.

***Tomorrow on radio: The audio and not opinion on what was said. Just the audio of the debate followed by the audio of former statements.

Case closed.

I wish Rubio would have joined Cruz on going after Trump before now but it is nice to have him finally join Cruz.

Winner: #1 Rubio and Cruz

Both did very well at showing him as an empty suit.

Rubio won on zingers, Cruz won on substance. Rubio will sell watches on his website (true) and Cruz will have the verifying audio on his website (guess).

#3 kasich (looked above it)

#4 (distant) Carson

#5 (far distant from Carson) Trump

Anyone worried about Trump winning Texas, sleep well tonight.

Sen. Ted Cruz: NOBODY should be afraid of Trump's Supreme Court justice pick

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) joined Glenn Beck on the radio program Wednesday to weigh in on President Donald Trump's potential Supreme Court nominees and talk about his timely new book, "One Vote Away: How a Single Supreme Court Seat Can Change History."

Sen. Cruz argued that, while Congressional Democrats are outraged over President Trump's chance at a third court appointment, no one on either side should be afraid of a Supreme Court justice being appointed if it's done according to the founding documents. That's why it's crucial that the GOP fills the vacant seat with a true constitutionalist.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) joined Glenn Beck on the radio program Wednesday to talk about why he believes President Donald Trump will nominate Judge Amy Coney Barrett to fill the Supreme Court vacancy created by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death.

Lee, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee that will consider and vote on the nominee, also weighed in on another Supreme Court contender: Judge Barbara Lagoa. Lee said he would not be comfortable confirming Lagoa without learning more about her history as it pertains to upholding the U.S. Constitution.

This week on the Glenn Beck Podcast, Glenn spoke with Vox co-founder Matthew Yglesias about his new book, "One Billion Americans: The Case for Thinking Bigger."

Matthew and Glenn agree that, while conservatives and liberals may disagree on a lot, we're not as far apart as some make it seem. If we truly want America to continue doing great things, we must spend less time fighting amongst ourselves.

'A convenient boogeyman for misinformation artists': Why is the New York Times defending George Soros?

On the "Glenn Beck Radio Program" Tuesday, Glenn discussed the details of a recent New York Times article that claims left-wing billionaire financier George Soros "has become a convenient boogeyman for misinformation artists who have falsely claimed that he funds spontaneous Black Lives Matter protests as well as antifa, the decentralized and largely online, far-left activist network that opposes President Trump."

The Times article followed last week's bizarre Fox News segment in which former House Speaker Newt Gingrich appeared to be censored for criticizing Soros (read more here). The article also labeled Glenn a "conspiracy theorist" for his tweet supporting Gingrich.
