It’s easy to ask, “What can I do?” to make a difference. But putting that into action is an entirely different thing. One young man --- Alec Offenberger --- decided to actually make it happen.
After learning about the Christian genocide happening in the Middle East --- and the efforts of the Nazarene Fund and Mercury One to save them --- Alec set out to bike across the U.S. in an effort to raise money. Along the way, he's relied on the kindness of strangers, his trusty tent (and a few park benches), as well as a newly strengthened reliance on God.
Starting in Maine, Alec has biked his way to Texas. He joined Glenn onThe Glenn Beck Program Friday to talked about his journey and what inspired him to make this sacrifice. He's learned a lot along the way --- including how zucchini makes a first class meal in a pinch.
