With all the talk of Donald Trump barreling toward the Republican nomination, many pundits say a third party vote would be a vote for Hillary Clinton. According to new data, it appears the opposite might be true --- a vote for Trump could actually be the vote for Hillary.
Tuesday on The Glenn Beck Program, co-host Stu Burguiere went through the numbers from FiveThirtyEight.com and their latest projections. Here are the numbers.
General Election Projection
• Hillary Clinton 374, Donald Trump 164
• 210 point loss
A key demographic has been white women, who make up the majority of the electorate in a general election. Despite losing the election in 2012, Mitt Romney won this demographic quite handily. Trump's campaign is currently under water in this category --- which does not bode well for the billionaire businessman's ability to secure the presidency.
• Mitt Romney 14 point win
• Donald Trump trails Hillary Clinton by 10 points
• 24 point downward swing since 2012
Who Do You Pull the Lever For?
Glenn again voiced his pledge to not vote for either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, as did Stu. But what does co-host Pat Gray have to say?
“I pull the lever for succession,” Pat said. “I vote for President Abbott from the Republic of Texas.”
