Tuesday night will not be for the faint of heart in the #NeverTrump movement. There's little doubt the Republican front-runner and native New Yorker will win his home state. The only question is how many delegates he will have when the dust settles.
Tuesday on The Glenn Beck Program, co-host Stu Burguiere took a hard look at the rules, districts and polling to get a better idea on how things will shake out.
The Rules and Delegate Allocation
• Each of the 27 congressional districts has three delegates
• Candidates receiving over 50% of the vote in these districts get all three delegates
• If no candidate reaches 50%, first place receives two delegates, second place receives one
• There are 11 delegates up for grab in the statewide vote
• Candidates receiving over 50% of the vote win all; otherwise it's proportional
