Obituaries are one of the most under-appreciated art forms.
In an obituary in The Richmond-Times Dispatch, one writer decided to put his skills to the test. Most obit writers try to remain somewhat objective or morally neutral. This writer, however, wasn't afraid to editorialize — and with abandon.
"Faced with the prospect of voting for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, Mary Anne Noland of Richmond chose, instead, to pass into the eternal love of God on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the age of 68," the author wrote of the recently deceased.
