FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (TheBlaze/AP) — The Libertarian Party again nominated former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson as its presidential candidate Sunday, believing he can challenge presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton because of their poor showing in popularity polls.
The nomination was the biggest — but certainly not the only news — out of the party’s convention in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday.
