Vince Coglianese, Executive Editor at The Daily Caller joined The Glenn Beck Program on Friday to discuss the buzz surrounding Donald Trump's top choices for VP. Filling in for Glenn, Buck Sexton asked about the word on the street at The Daily Caller.

"I'm seeing at the top of the list, according to the reporting, that the top choices as of now are Christie and Gingrich," Sexton said. "What do you think about that?"
Coglianese agreed.
"Those two guys more than anything are sort of the types of guys who can go out there in Trump's preferred form, which is to appear on television, and sort of forcefully defend Trump's policies, whatever they might be as the election goes on," Coglianese said.
One dark horse came up in the conversation: Ted Cruz.
"This is the weirdest thing. I don't think you or I see that happening, but the Trump campaign reportedly has been making inroads in reaching out to Ted Cruz to repair that relationship," Coglianese said.
Sexton wondered if Ted Cruz would even endorse Donald Trump.
"That was a contentious primary, as we all know. Just getting down to the point where Donald Trump is implicating your father in the JFK assassination, I think that's probably a bridge too far," Coglianese said.
