Glenn was mocked for saying the summer of 2016 would be the 'days of rage.' Now, it seems everyone is saying it --- even the president of the United States. Perhaps most ominous, though, is a recently released video that claims the hacktivist group Anonymous wants a day of rage on Friday, July 15.
Allegedly, 37 cities across the U.S. are targeted for days of rage, including Cleveland and Philadelphia, where the Republican and Democratic National Conventions kick off, on July 18 and July 25 respectively.

"We are sitting on a powder keg, but pray that nothing happens in Cleveland," Glenn said on his radio program Thursday. "Cleveland is safe, but the world could change next week, and then the week after in Philadelphia."
While Anonymous is not a centralized organization --- anyone can take action or make claims under the umbrella of Anonymous --- the video, which mimics a similar rumor from 2014, could potentially inspire others to organize rage protests. The recent video (see below) includes this piece of commentary:
Citizens of the world: We are Anonymous. We must stress the importance of staying nonviolent. Your local 7/11 did not cause the death of these young men. We condemn every form of rioting. We are calling on a collective day of rage. A day of action centered around civil disobedience and the right to protest.
To police departments across the United States, we are not your enemy. However, it is in your hands. If you want us to stay that way or not. We will not be silenced, and we will not be intimidated.
To the same (indiscernible) in the Baton Rouge police departments, we've launched attacks on your virtual infrastructure. We are prepared to release every single piece of evidence that will compost your corruption and blatant disregard for human life. Once again, we are calling upon the citizens of the United States in conjunction with the Black Lives Matter movement as well as other civil rights activists to participate in day of action against the injustices of corrupt officers.
On Friday, July 15, we will all flood the streets at strategic locations in order to maximize our voice. The locations and times will be located in the descriptions below. Tell your family. Tell your friends. We will change the world together. Our freedom depends on it. We are Anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget.
