Those nutty scientific experts. What would we do without them?
"I spent two and a half minutes because I read this story and then I heard what I'm about to play for you. I looked for the raw audio because I thought, 'That can't be it.' Tell me you don't click on this story: An orangutan that can have a full-fledged conversation," Glenn challenged.
Scientists and audio experts claimed an orangutan could have a conversation with people in English, like a human.
"Wow. That's a huge story," Stu agreed.
"Huge story. We've taught an orangutan to speak. Listen," Glenn said.
"Isn't that amazing? I got up this morning, and my wife said (insert inarticulate sound effect). And I said, honey, I (insert inarticulate sound effect). What the hell?" Glenn exclaimed.
The orangutan "communication" sounded nothing like human conversation and more like (insert inarticulate sound effect).
"And the woman was like, "Peanut, peanut?" That's not a conversation. There's no words that sound like that," Glenn said.
"No, that was not a compelling audio," Stu agreed.
"No," Pat said.
