Historic flooding in Louisiana has left thousands homeless. As the holiday season approaches, the already grueling recovery process compounds, and many families face going without a Thanksgiving meal. Mercury One has a plan to help.
"We're trying to feed a Thanksgiving meal to 30,000 people that are homeless or have lost absolutely everything," Glenn said Thursday on his radio program.
Mercury One has set a goal of raising $90,000 by October 15 to do just that.
"The first Thanksgiving, it was the Indians that did a lot of the providing for that meal. We would like to suggest that we come together in Louisiana for Thanksgiving," Glenn said.
