Adding another video to the current repertoire of Hollywood celebrities whining about politics, another political video was released from Hollywood, this time calling on Congress to act.
The actors included Sally Field, Rosie Perez, and Steve Buscemi, and the actors in the clip told Congress to “vigorously oppose” any of President-elect Donald Trump’s “racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, anti-worker, anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic, anti-environmental policies.”
Using the hashtag #StandUpforUS, the video was created by the pro-Hillary Clinton social media campaign, previously called Humanity for Hillary. The group, now called Humanity for Progress, urged supporters to sign a MoveOn.org petition to be sent to members of Congress. The video was released Tuesday, the same day the new U.S. Congress was sworn in.
