Let's get real, okay? It's only wrong to take a big paycheck from Wall Street if you're a Republican. If you're a Democrat, it's no big deal. Move along, folks. Nothin' to see here.
Listen to this segment from The Glenn Beck Program:
GLENN: Did you see this? Barack Obama has just -- has just given his first paid speaking gig, or is about to, at Cantor Fitzgerald Health Care Conference.
PAT: And surely, he did that -- he's going to do that for free and donate all the proceeds that he would have gotten to some really worthy charity for feeding children.
GLENN: No. No, he's not.
PAT: And eliminating current equality.
GLENN: You know what, he's earned his money. He spent his time --
PAT: That's true.
GLENN: -- serving. So we've got to give him a chance to make some money.
PAT: That's right.
GLENN: So he'll give this hour-long speech, and he's only charging $400,000.
PAT: Is that all?
GLENN: That's all.
PAT: Now, he could have charged a million. But he didn't. He charged 40 percent of that. That's huge. What a magnanimous gesture. 400 grand?
JEFFY: That's not that big.
PAT: Wow.
GLENN: Remember when Hillary Clinton got in trouble for speaking to -- who? Who? Oh, I remember, the Wall Street crowd.
PAT: Oh, right.
JEFFY: Yeah.
GLENN: He's talking to Cantor Fitzgeralds' Health Care Department.
PAT: Health.
GLENN: So it's Wall Street health care.
PAT: Jeez.
GLENN: $400,000.
PAT: 400,000.
GLENN: I'm telling you --
PAT: (sound effect)
GLENN: I don't know how we just don't --
PAT: The hypocrisy is unbelievable.
GLENN: -- eat each other. How we don't eat each other. When the hypocrisy becomes clear -- you know, I said this yesterday: The Clintons are done. The Clintons are done. I mean, I know people who really like the Clintons and supported the Clintons, who now look at Hillary Clinton, in particular, and they're like, I am so done with her.
