One man’s loss is another’s perfect proposal photoshoot.
A Wisconsin man hired Jacob Peters, an Arkansas-based photographer, to capture his sunrise proposal at Whitaker Point — a scenic cliff that overlooks the Ozark National Forest.
Peters woke up at 2:30 a.m. in order to hike up Hawk’s Bill Crag and set up his equipment before the 6 a.m. proposal time. The couple came, she said yes, Peters took pictures from a distance and all appeared to be a smooth start to a happily ever after.
But later that morning, when Peters texted the man to congratulate him, the man apologized for being over an hour late.
