The father of the Manchester bombing suspect says that his son is innocent.
22-year-old son Salman Abedi is alleged to have carried out a suicide attack at an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena, which killed 22 people and left dozens injured.
Ramadan Abedi told The Associated Press by telephone that he spoke to his son five days ago and he sounded "normal."
He said that his son visited Libya a month-and-a-half ago and he was getting ready to visit Saudi Arabia.
The elder Abedi denied that his son had links to radical Islamist militants.
