Fox News anchor Chris Wallace confronted former Vice President Al Gore with some inconvenient truths over the weekend, prompting Gore to answer with a rather conveniently twisted fact.
Filling in for Glenn, Mike Broomhead couldn't help but ooze faux gratitude for the politician that keeps on giving.
"Wallace pointed out it's been 11 years since Gore made the claim in An Inconvenient Truth, and there doesn't seem to be any planetary emergency. So Gore said, well, we have seen a decline in emissions on a global basis. For the first time, they've stabilized and started to decline," Broomhead said.
Nice spin on the fact that Gore's claims were just inconveniently untrue.
"So, in other words, if it wasn't for Al Gore, we would all be dead. Didn't he invent the internet too? So he saved the planet and invented the internet. I mean, when are we going to put this guy on Mount Rushmore?"
