The story of Sarah Lockner, the McDonald’s employee who tried to flush her newborn baby down the toilet, simultaneously fascinates, disgusts, and frustrates me.
For the uninitiated, The Daily Wire previously reported:
On September 4, Sarah Lockner, 25, who was working as a cashier, started making frequent visits to the bathroom, complaining that her stomach hurt. Her boss allowed her to leave early, but she stayed in the bathroom after checking out at roughly 10 p.m. A co-worker finally followed her into the bathroom and saw blood on the floor.
According to the San Mateo County district attorney, Lockner told the co-worker that the blood was from a heavy menstrual period.
