New Book Claims to Chronicle Trump’s Ties to Russia in Bombshell Exposé

What’s on your holiday reading list?

Glenn read three A.G. Riddle novels over the Thanksgiving holiday: the sci-fi thrillers “Pandemic,” “Genome” and “The Atlantis Gene.”

“What you really need is some dark technology stuff because you just don’t go down that road naturally so you need a little push,” Stu joked on today’s show.

“He was pushing all my buttons,” Glenn said. “I mean, I was awake till 3 o’clock in the morning.”

Listen to the full clip (above) to find out what “compelling” book made Glenn stop halfway through so he could do some more research on what purports to be a bombshell political exposé about the 2016 election.

GLENN: So I read -- I read a series of books. I read his book Pandemic and then Genome.

STU: Novels?

GLENN: Yeah, and then The Atlantis Gene. I just -- I fell in love with his premise. And it's kind of technology and evolution.

STU: Yeah. What you really need is some dark technology stuff. Because you just don't go down that road naturally.

GLENN: Naturally.

STU: So you need a little push.

GLENN: No, he played into it. No, he was pushing all my buttons. I mean, I was awake until 3 o'clock in the morning. I mean, I read three novels in a week.

But I also read about half of the book Collusion by Luke Harding. And I stopped. Because I thought, I need Stu to read this. Because I need you to really -- I want to get your perspective before I go down this road. Because this was written by a guy who was -- I think he was the Asian and Russian desk at the Guardian. And has some really incredible sources. And he's put a new spin on -- on the whole Russian interference and the role that Flynn and others played, knowingly. Some pretty dark stuff there.

STU: Yeah.

GLENN: Before I go down this road anymore, I just -- I want to go down with -- I want to go down with some friends here looking for red flags on this. We have to really vet it really well. Because it's a pretty compelling book.

STU: It seems that one of the charges here, just scanning here, is that they actually think that Russia helped Trump win. Which, I just dismiss out of hand. I don't know.

GLENN: Okay. So no. I think that's -- I think that's hyperbole.

STU: Uh-huh.

GLENN: They agree, at least this is the impression I have in the parts that I've read, that they just want chaos. They just want -- if Russia wins, they just want chaos. So they're doing everything they can to create chaos. And to create a distrust of the system by Americans. Okay?

So they win either way. But they make a pretty compelling case on how long they've been trying to get to Donald Trump and -- and -- and they did get to the people all around him. And I haven't -- I haven't gotten much further into it than that. Because there's just so much that I need to check all the footnotes on. And make sure that it's not some hack job on this.

STU: Yeah. I think it's -- if nothing else, you want to know what the charges are. What's going to be brought up.

GLENN: Yeah. I think this is the worst that anybody has brought up so far. You know, this is -- this is what they're looking for. And this book claims to have a lot of the stuff. And if you really -- and I don't want to get into a situation to where I'm arguing something, and I haven't read the other side. You know what I mean? If the charges are there, we need to know it.

It's kind of like when we first -- when Al Gore's movie first came out. And I went to it. And Stu went, oh, no. This could be really bad. Because I left there saying to Stu, I want to investigate, turn over every stone. He makes a compelling case.

If you don't know the facts. So let's turn over every stone. And you should do that with this book called Collusion. Turn over every stone. But we need to know the argument. Because it's pretty damning.

COO of vegan food giant Beyond Meat arrested for CHOMPING man's nose

A top executive at Beyond Meat, a plant-based food company, was arrested for reportedly biting a man’s nose in a parking garage near Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas, over the weekend.

Chief Operating Officer Doug Ramsey faces charges of terroristic threatening and third-degree battery after allegedly chomping down on a man's face and "ripping the flesh on the tip of the nose" during an altercation following the University of Arkansas football team’s victory over Missouri State.

According to reports, Ramsey was attempting to leave the parking garage in his Ford Bronco when a Subaru “inched his way” in front of him and made contact with his front passenger’s side tire. Ramsey allegedly “punched through the back windshield of the Subaru” before attacking the Subaru driver with both fists and teeth.

Ramsey “pulled [the Subaru driver] in close and started punching his body,” then “bit the owner’s nose, ripping the flesh on the tip of the nose,” according to reports.

The irony of a vegan food executive trying to make a meal of a human being's face was not missed by those jokesters on Twitter.

BlazeTV host Stu Burguiere is a vegetarian and also just happens to be the executive producer of the Glenn Beck radio program. Glenn joined "Stu Does America" to do a taste test of the plant-based "McPlant" burger, a Beyond Meat product, to see how it fares against the competition. In case you missed it, this was without a doubt the most ridiculous (but hilarious) plant-based food review so far.

The stock market recently had its worst day since the early days of the pandemic and, just like in September 2008, many investors fear a dangerous chain reaction is starting on Wall Street. But that's just a small part of the bigger picture. The housing market is also taking a historic hit, grocery prices are out of control, energy prices are skyrocketing across Europe, and America is close behind.

On the radio program, Glenn Beck compared this year's stock market trends with what happened before the 2008 crash, detailed Europe’s bleak energy outlook, and explained why he believes they’re heading for economic "hell."

"Europe is about to go through hell," Glenn said. "A nightmare is about to hit. But, please, fear not. The heavens are engaged. Are you engaged with the heavens? You are not going to convince God to be on your side. We must be on his side. Realign everything in your life, now, so you can be on his side, and together we will weather all of these storms."

California Democrats are leading the way on green spending, but what do they have to show for it?

In this clip, Glenn discusses California's crippling energy shortage and pleas to its citizens to stop cooling their homes during the current heat wave. Elected officials want Californians to buy electric vehicles and stop charging them, leaving Glenn to deduce that California lawmakers want people to stay home.

California's grid is under such strain that it requires a power plant in Oakland that burns jet fuel to continue operating through the end of next year to keep the lights on. "That sounds green as crap, doesn't it?" Glenn snarked. Can Americans continue to shrug this off as only California’s problem? Well, between the 17 states who have bound themselves to California by law, how long will it be before the rest of America begins to feel the impact in their lives?

The average price for a gas-powered vehicle is approximately $48,000, while the average price for an electric car is more than $66,000. And according to a study from the Hoover Institution, California will have to double its grid to meet the EV demand.

Watch as Glenn walks through the challenges and the proposed "solutions" out of California.

After tense negotiations between Amtrak, its workers, and the White House, Biden has announced that they've reached a "tentative deal" to avoid a national rail strike.

Reuters reported:

U.S. passenger railroad Amtrak would resume normal operations Friday as it works to quickly restore canceled trains after a freight rail labor deal was announced, averting a rail shutdown.

"We're saved!" Glenn said on Thursday's radio program. Pay no attention to what was happening just a few months ago with this deal or the fact that it is nearing the midterms. Just stand in awe of the totally coherent Joe Biden and his unquestionable cognitive ability to intervene in negotiations with the union workers and save America.

"This is political theatre at its finest," Glenn said. In this video, Glenn performed a one-man political theater show and illustrated why some might be led to believe that the whole Amtrak debacle was strategically planned — and on International Democracy Day to boot.
