CHILLING: 6 facts about communism you won’t hear in today’s pop culture

“Communism is looked at as something we can borrow from liberally,” said Glenn by way of introduction to today’s show, the second in a 2-part feature on the history of communism and what really happens when communism takes hold of a country. “The truth is that [communism] is among history’s most proficient killers.”

Here are some of the chilling facts and stats:

  1. Nearly 100 million people died under communist regimes.
  2. Chinese dictator Mao Zedong, aka ‘Chairman Mao,’ was responsible for executions, imprisonments, forced famines and labor camps that killed an estimated 65 million of his own countrymen.
  3. Cuban Revolutionist and pop-culture icon, Che Guevara, ordered hundreds of executions by firing squad without trials. He famously said, “We executed many people by firing squad without knowing if they were fully guilty. At times, the Revolution cannot stop to conduct much investigation.” He also famously hated America, free speech, and rock n’ roll music.
  4. An estimated 7,000,000 people perished under the dictatorship of Joseph Stalin, the dictator of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Many died from famine after the government’s forced collectivization of farmland.
  5. 33-42 percent of American millennials say they are unfamiliar with Mao, Guevara and Lenin.
  6. Among the millennials who are familiar, at least a quarter have a favorableimpression of Guevara, Marx, and Lenin.

SO MUCH FOR BUYING ELECTRIC: Mayor Pete wants to tax EVERY mile you drive

It's almost as if they WANT you to feel the coming pain as deeply as possible. First, Biden nixed the Keystone XL Pipeline, driving the price at the pump through the roof. Now, (Mayor) Pete Buttigieg is heading up the Department of Transportation and floated the idea of taxing EVERY mile you drive. So much for buying an electric car to save money at the pump...

WARNING: Here's who's REALLY behind 'spooky, right-wing' extremism

Over the past year, the left has tried to paint conservatives as "spooky, right-wing" extremists who want to destroy the nation. But true conservatives know that's not true. However, there is a dangerous global movement that fits this "spooky" definition — masquerading as "right-wing" — and it's gaining momentum. It's called Traditionalism, with a capital "T."

This week on "The Glenn Beck Podcast," author and award-winning expert on the radical right Professor Benjamin Teitelbaum joined Glenn to define Traditionalism and explain why it's exactly how the left wants to paint conservatives — but that couldn't be further from the truth.

Teitelbaum said Traditionalism is the "most transformative political movement of the early 21st century" in his book, "War for Eternity," which Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald called "an indispensable text" for understanding "the most profound and tumultuous political shifts defining societies on every continent." It's a bizarre story, involving Steve Bannon, Hinduism, Hitler, mysticism, Aleksandr Dugin, the Constitution, and tons and tons of money.

COMING SATURDAY: The REAL Extremism Is NOT ‘Conservative’ | Benjamin Teitelbaum | Ep 102

Did you realize that there's a group of incredibly powerful people from all over the world who are praying for the apocalypse? It's called Traditionalism, with a capital "T." He writes about it in his book, "War for Eternity," which Pulitzer-Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald called "an indispensable text" for understanding "the most profound and tumultuous political shifts defining societies on every continent." Gov. Kristi Noem DEFENDS against claims she’s ‘CAVING’ to NCAA on Title IX

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem had a tense interview with Fox News' Tucker Carlson this week over claims she caved to the NCAA. Rather than signing a bill banning transgender girls and women from competing against biological females in sports, Noem returned it to the legislature for 'style and form' changes, arguing to Carlson the current version 'wouldn't solve the problem.' Noem joins Glenn to defend her decision, saying conservatives must be 'strategic' in the fight to defend Title IX.
