These 3 things need to happen before we can fix our border problem

In a Thursday morning tweet, President Donald Trump credited the Mexican government for breaking up a “caravan” of Central American migrants headed toward the US-Mexico border.

The Caravan is largely broken up thanks to the strong immigration laws of Mexico and their willingness to use them so as not to cause a giant scene at our Border. Because of the Trump Administrations actions, Border crossings are at a still UNACCEPTABLE 46 year low. Stop drugs!

The organizers of the annual caravan, Pueblo Sin Fronteras, said the group of approximately 1000 migrants would not be continuing to the border as planned.

But what is the true purpose of these caravans? Are these so-called “humanitarian-aid” groups (which we discovered yesterday are backed by radical leftist billionaire: George Soros, click here to learn more) really out to help displaced refugees, or are they using these people as political weapons?

“It appeared to be less of an attempt to get people across the border and more of an international media spectacle,” said Glenn on today’s show. He likened the annual migrant caravan to the infamous “Gaza flotilla raid” in 2010.

“Like this migrant caravan, the Gaza flotilla was dubbed the ‘freedom flotilla’ and it was spun in the media as a group of people risking their lives in the name of humanitarian aid,” said Glenn. “No one [in the media] would show what happened when the Israeli solders boarded the ships. They were being beaten with pipes and chairs, even tossed overboard. The media also didn’t report who actually funded the flotilla. Two groups: the IHH, a terrorist organization, and Free Gaza, supported by Codepink and Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, the co-founders of the Weather Underground aka American domestic terrorists.”

If we want to solve the border problem, suggested Glenn, here are three things that need to happen:

Secure. The. Border.

Make LEGAL immigration simpler.

Protect the people who are actually in danger.
