PHOTOS: Mercury One makes final preparations for pop-up museum

Building a temporary museum exhibit in the middle of a very active radio and television studio is no easy feat. But Mercury One, the nonprofit humanitarian aid and education organization Glenn founded in 2011, has taken on the challenge. And, as you'll see in the photos below, it's starting to take shape.

The special exhibition, "12 Score & 3 Years Ago: The Unfinished Promise of Unity," will run from June 28th to July 7th at Mercury Studios in Irving, Texas, providing guests with an immersive experience exploring slavery and abolition and celebrating the lives of black heroes and innovators in the United States.

It won't be politically correct, Glenn promised his radio listeners earlier this week.

"Quite honestly, everyone has advised me not to do this museum," Glenn said during his radio program Tuesday. "We have gone over it over and over and over again, and I refuse to make it politically correct. I am only going to tell the truth, through the objects and through verifiable facts about what slavery is."

With over 100 artifacts, photographs and historical documents, five eye-opening augmented reality experiences and educational tools, the popup-museum will provide visitors with fascinating insights into our country's history and equip them to leave as modern-day abolitionists.

The truth is painful.

Because of the subject matter, Glenn explained this is not the type of event that is likely to draw massive crowds. But that does not diminish the importance of the event. "We rely on Divine Providence," Glenn said, explaining that this is one of those moments he knows will have eternal consequences.

"If you are anywhere within the sound of my voice, I urge you to come," Glenn said. "I would like to see you here. But if not, I am content that the people who are here are the right ones — the ones who will take this on and change the world and teach their children what truth really is — without a trigger warning. The truth is painful."

Tickets are available for purchase online (HERE) or may be purchased at the door upon arrival.

Watch as Glenn and David Barton talk about what guests can expect to see at the event.

Pop-up Museum Final Preparations

An inspiring survivor of Mao’s Cultural Revolution in China makes a passionate case that history is eerily repeating itself as the Woke Revolution spreads across America.

Xi Van Fleet lived through the horrors of the Chinese Cultural Revolution as a schoolgirl. Forced to the countryside with other young Chinese for re-education after high school, she later escaped communism and found freedom and new a life in America. But more than 30 years later, Xi disturbingly sees signs of the same Cultural Marxism that ravaged her birth country of China threatening to destroy the America she now calls home.
This is her dire warning to the United States.

Xi compellingly tells the story of two Cultural Revolutions: one driven by Mao during her childhood and the one unfolding in today’s America from the progressive left. With captivating personal stories and extensive historic research, Xi reveals the stunning similarities of these two revolutions. This fascinating book shows readers that both revolutions:

  • Use Marxist tactics of division, indoctrination, deception, coercion, cancelation, subversion and violence.
  • Aim to destroy the foundation of the traditional culture to replace it with Marxist ideologies.
  • Weaponize youth, using them as their means to an end.
  • Share the same goal of achieving absolute power at the expense of the people.
  • Lead to the same ending: loss of freedom and totalitarian rule.

Readers will be captivated by the riveting personal story of a Chinese immigrant to the United States who overcame fear and reluctance to get involved in the movement to save America. Her political activism begins with a school board speech in 2021 against Critical Race Theory in Loudoun County, Virginia that unexpectedly goes viral and ignites national media attention. Xi now devotes her life to educating the American public on the shocking parallels between these two revolutions.
Because only when Americans understand what is really happening will they rise up and resist the communist takeover of America.

For over a decade, philosopher and energy expert Alex Epstein has predicted that any negative impacts of fossil fuel use on our climate will be outweighed by the unique benefits of fossil fuels to human flourishing--including their unrivaled ability to provide low-cost, reliable energy to billions of people around the world, especially the world’s poorest people.

What does the future hold? In Fossil Future, Epstein, applying his distinctive “human flourishing framework” to the latest evidence, comes to the shocking conclusion that the benefits of fossil fuels will continue to far outweigh their side effects—including climate impacts—for generations to come. The path to global human flourishing, Epstein argues, is a combination of using more fossil fuels, getting better at “climate mastery,” and establishing “energy freedom” policies that allow nuclear and other truly promising alternatives to reach their full long-term potential.

Today’s pervasive claims of imminent climate catastrophe and imminent renewable energy dominance, Epstein shows, are based on what he calls the “anti-impact framework”—a set of faulty methods, false assumptions, and anti-human values that have caused the media’s designated experts to make wildly wrong predictions about fossil fuels, climate, and renewables for the last fifty years. Deeply researched and wide-ranging, this book will cause you to rethink everything you thought you knew about the future of our energy use, our environment, and our climate.

Authors Joshua Charles and Alec Torres of Persecuted From Withinjoined Glenn on "The Glenn Beck Program" to discuss how Christians are being persecuted from within the Church.

Many Catholics have either left the Church or been scandalized by the errors or immorality rampant in her clergy. We’ve watched aghast as faithful Catholics have been restricted or punished without just cause, while those who confuse, contradict, or undermine the Faith are elevated. In this bold and urgent book, the authors notice an apparent absurdity: those most disciplined by the Church at this time are often least deserving of correction. This protracted state of confusion and injustice, plain for all to see, has shaken the faith of millions.

Far from being just another diatribe, these absorbing pages provide a deeply illuminating historical perspective, revealing how this chaotic period in the Church is hardly unprecedented — or unpredicted. Instead, it represents a recurring feature of life in the Church throughout her history and is even a part of the divine plan. With this context, you will be able to make sense of and discover solutions to our present suffering.

John Dollard (1900-1980) was a psychologist and social scientist best known for his studies on race relations in America. From 1942 to 1945 he served as a consultant in the Morale Services Division the United States Department of War, during which time he and fellow psychologists at Yale University’s Institute of Human Relations produced a study titled “Fear and Courage under Battle Conditions.”

The study investigated fear and morale of soldiers in modern combat conditions. With the active assistance of the Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade interviews with Lincoln Brigade veterans were carried out and a questionnaire distributed. Three hundred veterans who had served as volunteers with the Abraham Lincoln Brigade during the Spanish Civil War replied and became the research subjects for the study.

This book presents the findings from this intensive study for the purposes of military value.
