Why have conservatives reacted differently to Israel compared to Ukraine?
From the onset of the Isreal-Hamas conflict, Leftists have been quick to point out the discrepancy between the way Conservatives have reacted to the Russian-Ukrainian war and the situation in Isreal. While on the surface they may look similar, a deeper look reveals the two conflicts are VERY different. The war in Ukraine is about control. Russia has a twisted feeling of responsibility for all of the Slavic peoples, and their invasion of Ukraine is aimed at recapturing and reincorporating it back into “Mother Russia." To be clear, this doesn't justify or lessen Russia’s crimes, as Glenn put so well:
When we're talking about Ukraine, yes. We're talking about evil. Russia comes in and slaughters women and children. And it's evil. And I believe there is evil all over the world. But when you talk about going up against Israel with these particular people, Iran, Hamas, Palestinians, and Hezbollah, you are talking actual Biblical evil.
What are Hamas' motives?
This brings us to the Isreal-Hamas conflict. Contrary to the claims made by university students for “Palestinian liberation," that is NOT what the conflict is about. It is about the eradication of the Jewish people, plain and simple. Don’t take our word for it; take a look at Hamas’ foundational charter that outlines the goals of the organization in their own words.
That is just the TIP OF THE ICEBERG. When you look into the history of Palestinian leaders, you find an array of "colorful" characters that have influenced Hamas and the Palestinian leadership over the years. One such character that Glenn has discussed in his program is Grand Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini, one of the founding leaders of the Palestinian liberation movement, who was known for working with Hitler and an elite SS division to solve "the Jewish problem." Haj Amin's relationship with Hitler proves that his movement, from which Hamas emerged, was about the eradication of the Jewish people from the beginning.
Here are 3 facts about him that PROVE Hamas is fighting for evil, not freedom:

Haj Amin al-Husseini was the Mufti (a judge of Islamic religious law) of Jerusalem in the 1920s when the region that is now Israel, along with most of the Middle East, was controlled by the British Empire. Haj Amin was a founder of the Muslim Brotherhood (an Arabic political party that has close ties to many terrorist organizations) and an early leader in Palestine. He was a profound anti-Semite and is influential in how Palestinians—and consequently, Muslims as a whole—view Jews.

Haj Amin wrote Islam and Judaism, an anti-Semitic booklet aimed at convincing Muslims of the alleged "evils" of Judaism. Despite containing many poor and contentious interpretations of the Qur’an, it was highly distributed and was very successful in changing the Muslim perception of Jews.

Haj Amin met with Hitler in 1941 and held regular correspondence with Himmler. Haj Amin and Himmler's friendship resulted in a few joint projects, most notably the Waffen-SS division in Bosnia, later named the "Handzar" division, which was mostly made up of Bosnian Muslims. This division was known for wearing green fezs adorned with several Nazi symbols and were produced by the prisoners of Dachau, one of the longest-running concentration camps.
