If nominated, can Donald Trump attract black voters? Frank Luntz, a Republican messaging consultant, thinks so. He’s convinced that Trump would garner the highest percentage of black votes since Ronald Reagan in 1980 (14%). “They listen to him. They find him fascinating, and in all the [focus groups] I have done, I have found Obama voters, they could’ve voted for Obama twice, but if they’re African American they would consider Trump,” he told Politico. The Onion has been bought by US Spanish-language broadcaster Univision, which runs channels aimed primarily at the US’s Hispanic population. Univision has reportedly taken a 40% controlling stake in Onion Inc, which also runs viral publishing parody site Clickhole and digital culture site the AV Club. MORE

Developer Demolishes Birthplace of Bill of Rights
If Silver Spring Township officials and a local real estate developer didn’t know that an old stone house on Route 11 is the reputed birthplace of the U.S. Bill of Rights before they started demolition there last week, they definitely know now. This just isn’t any stone house, however. Built in 1780 as the James Bell Tavern, the structure hosted the Stony Ridge Convention on July 3, 1788, a meeting of Anti-Federalists opposed to ratification of U.S. Constitution, which led to amending the document with the Bill of Rights.
