Iranian General to US: See You on the Battlefield
The deputy chief of staff for Iran's military said the country's response to new U.S. missile sanctions will come "on the real battlefield." Brig. Gen. Masoud Jazayeri claimed Tuesday that diplomatic relations will not hinder Iran's military advances and that the Islamic Republic is ready to build its defenses in an effort to counter any potential threats. Sarah Palin is taking heat from veterans for seeming to point the finger at President Obama over mental issues her son may be dealing with following his Iraq war service. Her son Track was arrested earlier this week on domestic violence charges, and Palin publicly addressed the case Wednesday during a post-endorsement appearance on the campaign trail for Donald Trump. She appeared to link his alleged behavior to post-traumatic stress disorder---and used it to criticize Obama’s veteran policies. MORE
Muslim Imam Defends Refugee Sexual Assaults With Outrageous Claim
A Muslim Imam has come to the defense of the mass sexual assaults by men of mainly Arabic and North African decent towards women in the German city of Cologne on New Year’s Eve. Sami Abu-Yusuf said the victims of the New Years Eve mob sex attacks had themselves to blame because they wore perfume. Additionally, he was not surprised the girls were sexually assaulted, groped and raped, because of the way they dressed. Over 500 complaints have been filed alleging some kind of sexual assault, with the attackers numbering around 2,000 men. MORE
Gun Dealer’s Blunt Signs Causing Controversy
A gun store owner in Jackson, Mississippi, has stirred controversy with signs displayed at a gun show over the weekend. One of the signs set up by Downrange Sporting Goods at the Jackson Gun Show says, “If you voted for Kenneth Stokes or Barack Obama, you’re too stupid to own a gun. Please find another dealer.” Another sign is even more compelling and stirring up controversy. MORE
Homeless Woman Gives Birth Near the Vatican, Church Offers Place to Stay
The Vatican has offered a place to stay to a homeless woman who gave birth on a piece of cardboard near St. Peter's Square in Vatican City early Wednesday. She's considering it. Italian police said a patrol stopped to help the woman after she gave birth in a square just beyond Vatican territory at about 2 a.m. on Wednesday, when temperatures were hovering around freezing.
