Bill Cosby Charged With Sexual Assault
Bill Cosby will be charged in the investigation of an alleged sexual assault more than a decade ago, two people familiar with a prosecutor’s decision said Wednesday. The two people spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because Montgomery County prosecutors prior to the announcement being made. It’s the first criminal case against the 78-year-old comedian over his conduct with women, which has received new scrutiny in the past year. MORE

Iranian Rocket Passes U.S. Carrier Harry S. Truman
The last time Iran and the U.S. engaged in naval skirmishes, it didn’t end well for Iran. Back in 1988, an Iranian mine nearly sank the missile frigate USS Samuel B. Roberts. The explosion resulted in Operation Praying Mantis, a coordinated attack on Iranian oil rigs and naval vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. Son of Radical Cleric Believed Killed in Iraq
A son of the Syrian-born radical cleric Omar Bakri has been killed in Iraq fighting alongside ISIS, security sources said on Tuesday. A Lebanese security source confirmed that Bilal Omar Bakri, who was in his late 20s, had been killed “fighting in the ranks" of ISIS. Another of the cleric’s sons, Mohammad Omar, who was in his late 30s, reportedly died fighting for ISIS in Syria several months earlier. MORE
