Ah, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, one of the most vehement leaders of the Kavanaugh witch-hunt. A man who, despite having admitted to sexual harassment, signals his virtue at every step of this process. Booker has been excellent at diving to new lows throughout this process. His ability to debase democracy and human decency is confounding. The man seems practically incapable of shame.
In his latest show of arrogance, Booker admitted that he doesn't care whether or not Kavanaugh is guilty. He doesn't see that as the point.
Just to be clear, Booker said:
Ultimately, it's not whether he's innocent or guilty, this is not a trial.
It doesn't matter whether or not he's guilty?
The next line is a real laugh riot too:
The people who are on the Supreme Court should preserve the integrity of the court and be beyond the reproach of these difficult partisan times.
Does he realize that his poisonous and calculated antics have largely enflamed the integrity of the court, and the integrity of this process? Does he think that his outlandish behavior is beyond reproach? Does he realize that his divisive tactics have made these difficult partisan times more difficult and more partisan?
Booker serves as the perfect representation of the Left's approach on this: Badger Kavanaugh for literally hours, days, weeks on end, prod and antagonize and harass him, and the moment he reacts, they say, "Look! Look! See? We were right all along." Classic victim blaming as a means of instilling confirmation bias.
They are not interested in truth. They do not care about reality. All they understand is that Orange Man Bad! and, frankly, that is far scarier than any dystopia they pretend to foresee.
