Petition targeting new Netflix series is further proof the Left has lost their sense of humor

Have you noticed a theme recently, something that the Left has been doing more often? Well, for one, they seem entirely unable to laugh at anything. In part because their ridiculous code of standards has made it nearly impossible to laugh at anything even remotely funny.

This time, the rule violation was (shuffle deck of oppression cards)... Fat Shaming! Which is somehow a real thing, and somehow people actually believe that our bodily shape and roundness and all that has nothing to do with the food we put into our body and the amount of exercise we do. So far, over 120,000 people have signed a Change.org petition imploring Netflix to stop the release of "Insatiable." Yeah, that's right, the show isn't even out yet and they're already protesting. They haven't even seen it and they're throwing tantrums about it.

The petition says that Netflix perpetuates "not only the toxicity of diet culture, but the objectification of women's bodies," and they will accept nothing short of cancellation. "The damage control of releasing this series will be far worse, insidious and sinister for teenage girls, than it will be damaging for Netflix in their loss of profit."

That's right, the show isn't even out yet and they're already protesting.

Netflix describes the show as involving "Patty, a high school student who has been bullied, ignored, and underestimated by those around her because of her weight. But life changes quickly after she has her jaw wired shut following a punch in the face, and finds herself suddenly thin."

I will say, this reliable hysteria does make for some good comedy. I mean, if we can't laugh about it, we'll wind up as stressed and uptight as they are.

Bank of America SIDESTEPS the Constitution for Paris Climate Agreement

Bank of America sent out a news release announcing its plans to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions through its financing — meaning it's now putting policies into place that'll make it hard for people to do business if they don't support the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.

"It is critical that we leverage all parts of our business – beyond our direct operations – in order to accelerate the transition to a net zero global economy," said Bank of America Vice Chairman, Anne Finucane.

On the radio program, Glenn Beck explains how its new policies are an end-run around the U.S. Constitution and another example of the coming "Great Reset." He also exposes Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan's close connections to the World Economic Forum and the push for stakeholder capitalism.

And this is just the beginning.

The New York Times recently published an article, "How Right-Wing Radio Stoked Anger Before the Capitol Siege," that calls out Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and other conservative media bigwigs, and accuses them of contributing to the January 6th Capitol riot. But, unsurprisingly, the quote they used from the radio show on January 4th to supposedly illustrate Glenn's 'aggressive rhetoric' contained a whole lot of ellipses.

On the radio program Thursday, Glenn filled in the blanks, putting his words into context and revealing the truth that the New York Times refuses to report.

The American Red Scare of the 1950s may be one of the most important — and most terrifying — events in our nation's history. It was a witch hunt — an all-out assault — on any American citizen deemed to be a threat simply because of their thoughts.
Led by Senator McCarthy, the House of Un-American Activities Committee destroyed lives. Mere accusations sometimes meant you were stripped of your job and your dignity. Sound familiar?

On Glenn TV tonight, Glenn Beck outlines how we've gone from pursuing alleged communists to pursuing "right-wing extremists." But how are our new "reality czars" defining that? Is it Trump supporters, red-state Republicans, conspiracy-theorist "nut jobs"? Our new Red Scare is here, America. Are you on the list? Later, Donald Trump Jr. joins Glenn to call out this modern McCarthyism and explains the real reason for President Trump's second impeachment trial.
