According to the World Economic Forum's "Global Risk Report," "misinformation and disinformation" is the number one threat to the population. But on this week's Glenn TV Special, Glenn questions the so-called "experts" who get to decide what is and isn't true. Now Glenn wants to hear from YOU. What do you think counts as "misinformation and disinformation"?

We compiled a list of statements that the "the experts" say are "misinformation and disinformation." Do you agree with them?

Two decades of 'progress': Where do the 1963 communist goals stand now?

Contributor / Contributor | Getty Images

Over two decades ago, when GlennBeck.com published a list of communist goals from 1963, it was a warning of things to come, and a look at how much had already happened. We thought it would serve as a wake-up call. And now, over 20 years later, it feels like that list was a roadmap.

Back then, the idea of capturing political parties or taking over the schools seemed like a distant threat, but look where we are today. The classrooms have become platforms for political activism, teaching children to hate American values while pushing radical ideologies as the new norm. What was once unthinkable has become routine.

The media landscape has shifted, too. In 2002, the press was still pretending to provide "unbiased" journalism. Now, it’s just state-run media for the Democrat party. It doesn’t just report the news; it creates propaganda meant to steer the culture further left with every headline, every story, every broadcast.

And on the cultural front, what we saw as isolated incidents back in 2002 – the push to normalize obscenity, discredit American heroes, and tear down traditional values – has become a full-blown campaign. Hollywood has gone from entertainment to full-on indoctrination. Nearly every movie and TV show pushes an agenda, whether it’s dismantling traditional values, glorifying degeneracy, or promoting anti-American narratives. What used to be rare is now the standard.

That list was a warning 20+ years ago, and it’s chilling to see how much of it has already come to pass. Here it is again, not as a relic of the past, but as a stark reminder of what’s been achieved by those who seek to fundamentally transform our nation.

1963 Communist Goals

The communist goals were entered into the Congressional record by Albert Herlong, Jr. (a Floridian who served in Congress from 1949-69)

  1. US acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
  2. US willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
  3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the US would be a demonstration of "moral strength."
  4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
  5. Extension of long term loans to Russia and Soviet Satellites.
  6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
  7. Grant recognition of Red China, and admission of Red China to the UN.
  8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the Germany question by free elections under supervision of the UN.
  9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the US has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.
  10. Allow all Soviet Satellites individual representation in the UN.
  11. Promote the UN as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the UN as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo).
  12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.
  13. Do away with loyalty oaths.
  14. Continue giving Russia access to the US Patent Office.
  15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the US.
  16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
  17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism, and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in text books.
  18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
  19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
  20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
  21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV & motion pictures.
  22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all form of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings," substitute shapeless, awkward, and meaningless forms.
  23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."
  24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.
  25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography, and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.
  26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as "normal, natural, and healthy."
  27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."
  28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."
  29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
  30. Discredit the American founding fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man".
  31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of "the big picture": Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
  32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture - - education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
  33. Eliminate all laws or procedures, which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
  34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
  35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
  36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
  37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
  38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat.
  39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
  40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
  41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.
  42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special interest groups should rise up and make a "united force" to solve economic, political, or social problems.
  43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.
  44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.
  45. Repeal the Connally Reservation so the US can not prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.

Poor Hezbollah: farewell to arms and other extremities

Anadolu / Contributor | Getty Images

And now, if we may have a few moments of serious reflection, I give you… a lament for Hezbollah.

They’ve had a great run, those Hez-ballers. Yeah, while everyone else is sliding around third base into the Year of our Lord 2025, these fine young men of the Book Qu’RAN into a little trouble while trying to climb up out of the 90s. Popular Science is rating them “Most Likely to Get Retroactively Killed by Y2K”.

Pagers and walkie-talkies? Sure, Abdul, we got pagers and walkie-talkies!

And what a brilliant strategy it was, using these things against the Israelis so they couldn’t be tracked. But just like with every trick they’ve had up their sleeve or clipped to the belt around their dresses… this one blew up in their faces. Or other areas.

You’d think they’d have learned their lesson after it turned out Mossad was listening in on them through their Sony Walkmen, flash-blinding them with the fax machine, dipping their AOL dial-up CDs in anthrax, Rick-rolling their Netscape Navigator comment boards, and delivering neurotoxins directly into their veins through their slap bracelets. How, after all that, could they not see coming that the next Defender of Israel Award will likely go to Motorola?

Somewhere out there, in a lonely corridor of a cobweb-filled shopping mall, there’s a man standing at a dusty kiosk, sighing woefully like he’s the Maytag Repairman – yeah, that’s right kids, we’re cutting deep here. Do you know why he’s sighing? Because up until yesterday, that man had hope. What does he sell at this kiosk, you ask? Pagers. That’s what. And a few weeks ago, he had the largest order he’s had in years! He went home that night, hugged his wife and children, and said, “We’re gonna make it! Pagers are coming back, baby! And I’m going to be on top of the world!”

And then he wakes up yesterday to read the news story…and he knows his goose is cooked. And not just because he lives in Springfield, Ohio, and had a pet goose until recently.

Alas, for that man. And alas, for the large group of people who now, through the modern miracle of overheated and explosive-laced 90s technology, shall forever be known as Hez-balless. These men who give new meaning to terms like “hot pockets”. If there is justice in the hereafter, perhaps those who become unintentional junk bombers will receive twice as many virgins upon entry into Paradise!

And for those nine brave young men who died in the most Wiley E. Coyote way I’ve ever heard of… to you from whom life just took a giant bite of your Allahu-Ack Bar, let me just say this: I hope that the last thing you saw as you raised that pager to your eyes was a message from Mossad – the same message every young boy in the nineties would have sent on a pager. Numerical brevity being also the soul of wit, I hope, appropriately, the message simply read: 80085.

Boobs.

Democrats are gaslighting Americans about Springfield, Ohio's cat BBQs

JEFF KOWALSKY / Contributor, Christopher Furlong / Staff | Getty Images

The Left has smeared President Donald Trump repeatedly over the last several weeks over the claim that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio are eating pets. The mainstream media has once again cast Trump as a liar and racist, claiming that his cat-eating rumors are entirely baseless. The Left's spin on the ordeal is that Trump is dredging up century-old anti-immigrant slander, comparing it to the anti-Italian and anti-Chinese rhetoric of the 19th century.

The scary thing is, for many Americans, these allegedly "baseless" claims aren't rumors at all: they're a daily reality. The mainstream media and political establishment never seem to see the desperate pleas made by Springfield residents who are watching as their town is overrun by people who do not know or care about their laws, customs, or culture.

They are watching in horror as their slice of quiet, small-town America is destroyed, and what do the Left and our "wonderful" Vice President do? They dismiss their claims as "conspiracy theories."

A grain of truth under a mountain of lies

There is a tiny grain of truth behind the Left's propaganda, which makes it all the more insidious. Springfield law enforcement and the mayor indeed have denied that cat-eating or duck-beheading is happening. That's not to say it isn'thappening. There is good evidence that is happening.

The notion that Trump's claim was "unfounded" is undeniably false. Not only do we have the testimony of the people of Springfield, but we also have well-documented cases such as this one (viewer discretion advised):

Christopher F. Rufo @realchrisrufo

This video, which was recently reported on by journalist Chris Rufo, depicts migrants in Dayton, Ohio (only about half an hour away from Springfield) grilling cats on their back patio. While this may not prove that Haitian migrants are killing and eating specifically pet cats and dogs it certainly corroborates the people of Springfield's claim that cats are being eaten.

The Left is gaslighting Americans —again

The repeated claim coming from the mainstream media that Trump's claim is somehow "unfounded" is a distortion of reality that millions of Americans are taking as unquestionable truth. These people are being gaslighted, and it's the same old story we've seen time and time again: "The vaccine is safe and effective," "The economy is doing great," "Biden is mentally fit," "January 6th was the most dangerous day in American history," and now, "No one is eating cats."

How Anti-Trump Media Rhetoric to Blame for New Assassination Attempt

Spencer Platt / Staff, - / Contributor | Getty Images

Ryan Routh was the second person to be tipped over the edge by the corporate media’s propaganda, convinced that he would be saving democracy by taking out Trump.

We are just about 50 days away from the presidential election. Can we take the next seven weeks and try to refrain from assassinating Donald Trump? If you were wondering if we are living in a banana republic, rest assured: We are officially here.

Here is what reportedly happened during the second assassination attempt against Trump in Florida on Sunday. Early reports said that police recovered an AK-47 from the bushes outside the golf course where the president was golfing, as well as a GoPro recording device attached to the fence pointed out at the putting green. Why would you have a GoPro recording device unless you were planning on recording the assassination attempt so that your deeds would live forever?

If this doesn’t reveal the dangerous game our political elites are playing, I don’t know what will.

Is anything else recorded on that GoPro? Did the would-be assassin make a statement? Why would you record your deeds without recording a message for all to hear? I would like to know what was on the GoPro, if anything, because this guy obviously had an agenda.

A Secret Service agent was eagle-eyed enough to spot the barrel of a gun poking out from the bushes in the perimeter of the golf course. The suspected gunman was later identified as Ryan Wesley Routh. He had taken two backpacks and tied them to the fence on each side of where he would have been sitting. The barrel of the gun would have been right between them.

The media merely reported that he had ceramic tiles in his backpack and didn’t go into further detail. Perhaps they didn’t want to report on the fact that ceramic tile is what you put inside a bulletproof vest if you are expecting a chest shot. A bulletproof vest will not stop a high-powered rifle. However, ceramic tile will. That’s why he put ceramic tile in his backpacks, right where he would have been crouched with the gun. He was expecting a shoot-out.

How did the Secret Service agent see the gun? I don’t know, but I want to take it at face value and believe he was doing his job. The reason I say this is that I was with Trump on Saturday, and I posted on X that this was the very first time in 15 years that I have seen the Secret Service actually do its job. I've been railing about this for 15 years, and Saturday was the first time I thought the Secret Service was taking it seriously. There was no way you were getting into the event unless you were an invited guest, and there was absolutely no way you were getting close to the president unless you were supposed to.

So what happened?

I want to believe that the Secret Service was doing its job. The agent was allegedly scoping the perimeter a hole or two ahead of Trump when he noticed the gun barrel poking out of the bushes. The agent fired on Routh. Routh reportedly fled rather than return fire. He did not get a shot off at the president.

Somebody saw Routh run from the bushes and get into his car and had the wherewithal to write down the plate number and remember the car’s make and model. The witness called police immediately and relayed this information, and law enforcement captured Routh quickly.

Who exactly is Trump’s second wannabe assassin, Ryan Routh? His son, Oran, said his father hates Donald Trump as “every reasonable person does.” It’s quite telling that this comment was his immediate response after hearing that his father tried to kill the president. Yet Oran insisted his dad was a hardworking, decent, nonviolent person and that he’s never known him to own a gun.

Well, I don't think you know your dad, Oran, but you might be interested to know that in 2002, Ryan Routh barricaded himself into his office with a fully automatic machine gun and had a three-hour standoff with police. The FBI said Routh was in possession of "a weapon of mass destruction.” He went to jail — not prison. If you're caught with an automatic weapon without the proper permits, you would typically be sentenced to between 10 and 20 years in prison. Why was his sentence so short, and why didn’t he even go to prison?

His son also said his dad is a peaceful person. Did he know that he flew to Ukraine to recruit Afghan soldiers to join the Ukrainian war effort?

After he learned of his dad’s attempt on Trump’s life, Oran offered a revealing comment:

I hate this game every four years, and think that we all do, and if my father wants to be a martyr to how broken and disassociated the process has become from the real problems and practical solutions, then that’s his choice.

He went on:

"South Park" said it best. Every four years, we’re forced to choose between a turd sandwich and a giant douche, and it all stays f***ed in the same ways by different degrees, and we’re exhausted and embarrassed by it all.

So the ends justifies the means? That’s what I’m hearing here.

The media has been peddling this dangerous rhetoric depicting Trump as a dictator and an imminent threat to democracy. Ryan Routh was the second person to be tipped over the edge by this propaganda, convinced that he would be saving democracy by taking out Trump. His own son’s visceral reaction to hearing the news about his father was one of justification and understanding rather than outright condemnation. If this doesn’t reveal the dangerous game our political elites are playing, I don’t know what will.
