Bill Kristol is a has-been.  I don’t think anyone listens to him anymore, or at least I don’t and never had.  The GOP has lost me.  It’s being run by a bunch of insiders who are no better than the Democrats.  Don’t raise my TAXES!!!!

If the GOP wants to keep any of its power, the party ought to listen to the people — don’t, raise, our, TAXES!!!

Most of the Republican old guard and leadership has caved in already; I can no longer trust any of the political groups in Congress save for those who actually do what they say they will no matter the consequences to their future careers.

If we cannot win back the conservative movement from the ground up, one in which the people themselves make the calls, we are finished.

supports most of Obama care, the Patriot act, weapons bans, stimulus packages,
bailouts, TARP, sanctions and wars all over the world, both love our Fed
Chairman Ben Bernanke.  Both support the NDAA, the ability to indefinetly
detain “Suspected” Americans.  Both think Tim Geitner is wonderfull. Both
got huge “donations”  from Goldman sacks, JP Morgan, Citibank, Morgan
Stanley.  Just wait and see how are wonderfull elected officials handle
the Fiscal Cliff.  EVERYONE of them will say they are working for us and I
guarantee you we are screwed somehow when the smoke clears, all Americans are
slaves to this system.  I consider myself a political atheist when it
comes to presidential elections from here on out.  The only candidate I
will even consider will be the one from the Libertarian party.  Good luck
to anyone who still thinks the ONLY choices are republican or democrat!

Am I wrong to be very very disappointed in the GOP? First, they nominate the wrong candidate, Romney (I did like him, but he just couldn’t connect with the people), then the GOP is not being aggressive enough in the Benghazi investigation, and now Boehner is going to probably cave to taxing. Argh! Where is the Tea Party??

 The GOP is done for. They will either betray conservatives to try and win over the “hispanic vote” (and by doing so lose the conservative hispanic vote!), or they will stick around deluded they have a shot at winning despite the demographic shift.

The only real solution is to separate while Texas still is conservative. If we wait another 20 years Texas will become overrun by socialists from the open borders and then conservatives will NEVER regain the white house for 100 years.

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather live in the world’s 15th largest economy (Texas) without a socialist overlord in D.C. Texas only gets $0.85 for every tax dollar we send to DC so we’d save hundreds of billions by leaving!

If you still believe in the “system” ( the free election system) and that your vote really counts –you’re living in a dream world. The last election was bought and paid for–before the first vote was cast. There was no way conservaties would win. The deck was already stacked against anyone who would attempt to oust Obama and the liberals. No matter what it took they were not going to lose. Obama controls the Executive, Judicial and Legislative branches of the government.He controls all the government agencies: Dept Of Justice,CIA,FBI,the military ATF ,Border Control, etc. The Supreme court, The Federal courts and local federal judges he appointed all backed him. He controls most if not all the news media: TV,radio, printed press, magazines,Public TV ( there are still a few examples of free speech left,but they are ineffective)
He is backed by: hollywood,the music entertainers, athletes, actors, directors,the green industry and all the people that he paid kick backs to(with government grants and loans— to support him. How many illegal aliens do you think voted for Obama? How many people on welfare and those that recieve government funding and have government jobs voted for Obama? How many in the military were unable to vote or not allowed to vote? This was the beginning of the end for free elections in this country. Your next president will be Hillary Clinton and so on and so on.

You are right. The few I had faith in, like Col. Allen West, were voted out. I believe (please correct me if I’m wrong) that in the Constitution there is a clause/article that states when the govt. becomes oppressive (or something to that extent) we the people have a right to throw them all out and elect new ones. Ron Paul, hold a press conference, and let’s get started.

I agree 100%.  Let the Bush tax cuts expire.  What happened when the Bush tax cuts were imposed?  Many people did not have to pay taxes and in many cases they got money back from the Federal Government and I am sure these people voted for Obama.  I will pay a little more in taxes, but  I will have the comfort of knowing that those people who did not pay taxes under the Bush tax cuts will start to pay again.

Allen West was the only guy (aside from Paul Ryan) who had the guts to stand up to O-blame-a the way that Glenn was just saying.

TERM limits are the answer to the GOP suck-up mentality that has begun or been in the swing for awhile.  When you give an elected official 2 terms to make a difference, you then make it so they can focus on the issues and not the elections since it won’t make a difference.  Complacency and indifference permeate through Washington and the good ole boy attitude takes effect and people forget who they are and try to keep a hold on their seat due to benefits and not the honor of the seat appointed.  Kristol is another example of a pandering, blithering idiot who is trying to keep his place at the table to get kick backs of support and live a mediocre and non substantiated life.  Since there is no checks and balances for elections why would be expect fresh perspectives and the love of country when we don’t demand it?

 Secession would get the world’s attention and bring to light that some still believe in the documents that were written to avoid such an abuse in government.  A Civil War would be invited from us conservatives as we see no other method since the UN and other world type governments are getting a say to how we are see in the world economically and socially.  All I can say is if sides were chosen and lines were drawn the liberals would get wiped out in a matter of days as those that produce are more prepared and focused since we still remember what freedom really stood for.
