Who are gun manufacturers refusing to do business with?

Get Glenn Live! On TheBlaze TV

A group of gun manufacturers have decided they will no longer sell guns to ‘any government entity’ in any state that severely restricts a citizens right to own firearms. The logic being they do not want to continue arming a government where the people are being disarmed. Who is taking a stand?

“Last Friday TheBlaze reported on a growing list of gun manufacturers, and retailers that it stopped selling to law enforcement in states that were enacting stringent gun laws. Since that report on “The Blaze” more have joined. None of the big three: Glock, SIG or Smith & Wesson,” Glenn said on radio.

While the big three may not have made a comment, the below have all made a public stand against stricter gun laws:

TheBlaze lists:

These were joined today by:

“They’re not going to sell to any state that wants to disarm their population,” Glenn said on radio.

For more on this list visit TheBlaze.

Glenn said that sheriffs are also standing against increasing regulation.

“It’s really important that you understand that your sheriff is not your local police.  Your sheriff answers directly to the people.  And the only one that can form a militia in a state is a governor and sheriff.  They do not answer to the police.  They answer to the constitution, and you.  Even the Feds recognize that.  That’s why these sheriffs are going to be so much trouble.  They’re going to do everything they can to destroy these guys,” Glenn said.

“You know guys, you’re entering Chernobyl.  And everybody needs to recognize this, that you’re entering a time in American politics that we all have to do our part, and understand that it’s Chernobyl.  They are going to poison everyone against you.  They will destroy you in the end.  Destroy your credibility, and most likely your career, and there are going to be a ton of us off on the wayside.  And you’ve got nothing left.  But I want you to know if there’s someone behind us, if we know someone is behind us, we can go in for our 25 seconds and we can turn it one way before the radiation gets too much.  As long as we know there’s other liberty fireman behind us that will go in and turn it another half quarter turn.  That’s the way we have to view this.  I really truly believe that there are others that will continue to stand,” he said.

Glad to see the gun-manufacturers are making a stance and choosing to not sell in areas where the anti-gun legislation and gun-grabbing is coming to the forefront.

How much pressure is Obama placing on state legislatures; and how many threats to their families and themselves are made with each day they will not conform to his madness?

American business at its finest; now I can imagine some state or even the Federal government will slam hard on the manufacturers for ‘not selling to them.’

Just buy your guns from these guys from now on make a statement where it hurts them the most their check book. That we want all gun companies to do this.

To avoid Interstate commerce clauses, from start to finish make and sell the weapons within a state and there is no authority for the federal govt. to regulate.  Get ‘em boys and girls.

I am happy that they are taking a stand. I would like this to go one step farther and have the ammo suppliers do the same thing. what good is a gun without ammo

I think that the Manufacturers are definitely doing the right thing, except that part about not selling to Police Forces but they will sell to Individual Police Officers (double standard for Public Perception).  I am glad that the Sheriffs are standing against the Tyranny.  Now, it is time for Americans to Stand with the Sheriffs and Manufacturers…

If only these same people had seats in congress with a small “c”.

Actually, that’s not a bad idea…..sell to police officers or any gov. Individual who signs a gag order. No large orders.

Unfortunately one of the companies on that list, Cheaper Than Dirt is also fully taking advantage of the current situation and is engaged in ridiculous price gouging on it’s law abiding customers with more than an 800% mark-up on some of the so-called “high capacity” magazines! Meanwhile other respectable companies such as Midway USA are still selling all accessories at pre-Newtown prices!

I hope and pray the Sheriff Association will stand firm on the Constitution. Everybody should ask their Sheriff for a Concealed Hand Gun Permit. Yes it would give a name to the authorities but it would also signal the authorities they CANNOT just come in and expect they can do whatever they want.

Are any of these listed manufacturers MAJOR producers? Where did the government place its orders for the BIG arsenal of guns and ammo? If none of these mfg factories were involved, then the government will not be hurt. Let’s find out how all these smaller manufacturers are doing today.

One Problem, the Fed Gov’t has been undermining State Soverienty!  By the Constitution the Fed Gov’t is not supposed to Directly Own Land, but in the ObamaCare Bill they SEIZED Over 13 Million Acres of Land in 7 Western States.  It was worded as set aside for Federal Parks & Recreation, and Wildlife Preserves.  But, if it is for that reason why did they Take Land that has Rare Earth Minerals, Water Rights, Gold, Copper, Farmable Soil, and a few other Important Resources?  It is like they used Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac to “Launder” Tangible Assets that have Intrinsic Value, and who in the long run is going to get to Purchase That Land From The Gov’t?  That is if they haven’t already passed it on to their buddies…

Yea, finally someone with guts and glory…  Washington doesn’t care about the Constitution or what it stands for they will do what they want.  Obama has shown that already, he is placing himself in that dictatorship roll.  He is above we the people.  Time to show Washington who is boss, we have to come together and get them out – all of them!!! in 2014.  Let’s do it!!

    Right on good brother…

My bet is that the land will be allocated in the  future in a manner consistent with Agenda 21: community planning that will go beyond housing.. The mineral/petroleum harvesting rights will belong to the future government Resource Management Department which will fall under Central Planning. Eventually we will not be allowed to own land – only have temporary rights to lease it.

I refer you to the case of Wickard vs. Filburn, in which a farmer wanted to grow wheat for his own use on his own land.   The government had set limits on how much wheat you could grow, trying to drive up prices.   He wasn’t selling the wheat, but the court said that the govt. can regulate commerce, and he lost the case.   Craxzy, huh?

I believe that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT should be abolished and let the STATES take care of themselves.  It would save $trillions, AMERICA COULD PROSPER AGAIN  and the TAXPAYERS could keep much more of their money. The States would have a panel of regular citizens who would keep a very close watch over the POLITICIANS TO KEEP THEM HONEST AND ALWAYS DOING THEIR JOBS.  THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF CRIMINAL THUGS SUCKING THE LIFE OUT OF AMERICANS BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO LAZY TO WORK AND NOT EVEN QUALIFIED FOR THEIR POSITIONS JUST LIKE THE TERRORIST, TYRANT, DICTATOR RULING AMERICA.  THE TERRORIST AND CONGRESS SHOULD ALL GO TO PRISON FOR TREASON AND TERRORIST CRIMES AGAINST AMERICA.  GOD BLESS AMERICA.

i find it a very good idea,if nothing else it shows that laws ,rules ,regulations ,restrictions and limitations have consequences, even to those that come up with them in the first place ,and yes most likely they will try and “take out” the strong to scare the weak, but you know 2 or 3 weak guys make a strong one too, perhaps even stronger

  • landofaahs

You at least force the federal govt. to violate the constiotution. At that point the revolt will have already began.

You left out Barrett Firearms who is actually leading this no sales movement.
Sig-Sauer, Glock and S&W probably won’t join since they all arm the feds and police.
I’m suprised Alex Jones hasn’t mentioned any of this on infowars.

I am glad these companies are not bending to our ant-constitutional leader. But I am guessing they get most of their guns, bullets and accessories from the major gun manufacturers. I don’t think those mentioned in this article will make a dent in arming any governmental agency.

I’m going to over the next few days see if I can find every ammunition manufacture to see if they will stop selling ammunition to every state & federal government that keeps eroding our 2nd amendment rights. And Lawrence Vian, you gave this veteran a great idea.  I’m going to start compiling list of ammo companies & if they do or don’t sell ammo to the government.  I want everyone with the sound of my voice find out every ammo manufacture that sells ammo in the United States to the government and ask them to stop selling to the government and make that list & forward it to Glenn Beck.  TOGETHER WE CAN GET THIS DONE.

  • Anonymous

Lawrence, you gave me a great idea, now I’m on a mission.  I’m hoping you & your friends will do the same.  Lets compile a list of manufactures of ammo companies that will & won’t sell to the government.

It’s nice to know that there are some of these manufacturers that are willing to take a stand. I also appreciate the sheriffs who have put the federal, state and city governments on notice that not even a presidential order will sway them as their mandate is to the constitution and directly to the people. It’s too bad that Obama cares nothing about having taken the same oath. So far as he is concerned, the constitution that limits his power should be eradicated and the bill of rights made efficacious only upon his personal approval. Like Obamacare, anyone who’s willing to pony up to the cyanide kool-aid table to support him monetarily will be granted a waiver from having to obey any of the mandates of this new world order.
