On radio today, Glenn focused on two stories that represented the crossroads America now faces. First, there was the Texas 'mama bear' whose car was hit during a high speed chase. She subsequently attacked the driver and held him until the police arrived. On the other hand, you have the story of the factory worker who walks twenty miles to and from work everyday. His story inspired people all over to donate $350,000 to help him get a car.
Glenn went through both stories and asked Americans to make a choice.

"Today, I give you a choice," Glenn said. "Which America do you want? Which America do you believe is our future? Which America will you personally work to build? The one where somebody takes it, the one where somebody will knife you for it, someone will kill you for it, that it's dog eat dog, that we are just animals; or the America where somebody does it quietly, they just work, because that's what they do. They don't grow bitter, and when they have success, no matter what kind of success it is, at 56 years old, they still say, if my parents could see me now. Which America do you choose? Gaze on the America you want. Dismiss the other and dismiss those who tell you the good America is no longer possible. Dismiss them."
