Get this. Donald Trump is now paying to put down Glenn Beck.
Glenn has made no secret of his disdain for Trump---not as a person, but rather as an "anti-establishment" Republican candidate for president of the United States. One of Glenn's most obvious concerns is about the real estate mogul's apparent past support of Barack Obama---Trump having described himself as Obama's "biggest cheerleader."
Trump has gotten aggressive with Glenn on Twitter in the past, but this is the first instance (that we know of) where he has actually spent money for the strict purpose of trashing Glenn's reputation.
Following Glenn's official endorsement of Ted Cruz on Saturday, the following sponsored message began circulating on Facebook from none other than Donald J. Trump:
Failing Glenn Beck lost all credibility. Not only was he fired at FOX, he would have voted for Hillary Clinton over John McCain.
See screen shot below.
When Glenn saw the ad, he was surprised to say the least.
"This---I'm thrilled," Glenn exclaimed. "Trump is spending money to smear my name. I thought I was a nobody."
