Planned Parenthood Gets Embarrassingly Hypocritical in This Statement on DACA

Following the announcement by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions to officially end the Deferred Action for Childhood arrivals program, Planned Parenthood sent out an ironic and hypercritical statement which eviscerated the proposed end to the policy.

In the bizarre fundraising email from Planned Parenthood President and CEO Cecile Richards, the organization created a call to action to protect the lives of DREAMers stating, “We firmly believe that every person has a right to live.”

It didn’t take long for Twitter users and Conservatives to point out the organization’s hypocrisy for defending life as they see it. TheBlaze contributor Matt Walsh wrote a column that completely punctured Planned Parenthood’s self-proclaimed moral high ground in regards to its stance on DACA stating, “The plan to (maybe) end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program has spurred plenty of moral indignation on the Left. And it’s that especially weird sort of moral indignation — weird, given the source — that involves Leftists complaining about alleged injustice and cruelty towards children.”

“How could I sit with a straight face and listen to lectures about ‘cruelty’ from people who think it’s cool to butcher a human being and sell his body parts to a research lab? How could I make any sense of the idea that a child has the right to remain in America because he’s already here, but no right to remain on planet Earth despite already being here?”

On radio Friday, Glenn discussed leftist organizations like Planned Parenthood who advocate for immigrants, yet murder the unborn and profit from their butchered body parts.

GLENN: Let's come together on this. We firmly believe that every person has a right to live. That's a quote.

Liberals and conservatives can surely get behind something like that. Right? It's unifying. It's inspiring. It's not just American, it is human. And it is rare and nice to hear an organization take a stand like that. And it's great to see organizations getting awards for taking a stand like that. We firmly believe that every person has a right to live.

This week, this organization won the Lasker Award, one of the nation's most prestigious prizes in medicine. Fortunately, the Lasker Award includes a $250,000 prize. Because this year's winner is cash-strapped and can use it.

Well, I mean, it's not cash-strapped yet, but it fears it might be soon. And with President Trump and Republican Congress threatening to block it from receiving Medicaid reimbursements and everything, it's probably going to be cash-strapped.

I don't know about you, but I'm sick about all of the politicians that are going to try to withhold funds from an organization that provides health services to millions of people. And in the announcement of the award, it says, although the organization is most famous for aiding women, it helps men as well. End quote.

Now, if we're being honest, the -- that part of the award anouncement is a little misleading because the organization is actually more famous for disposing of that pesky health issue of having a baby in the womb.

Now, I know things have changed, and maybe men can have babies in today's world. Maybe I'm having one right now the world is upside down, and I just don't know it or won't admit it because I'm such a bigot.

This year's Lasker Award goes to Planned Parenthood. But don't worry, because in the announcement, the Lasker Award people made sure to say that abortions are only 3 percent of the health services that Planned Parenthood provides. And last year, that 3 percent only included 328,348 babies that were killed. That's it.

This week, Planned Parenthood's president, Cecile HEP Richards, emailed supporters expressing outrage over President Trump's plan to end DACA. Which is right. When you think of Planned Parenthood, you think immediately DACA.

She writes, apparently without any sense of irony, here at Planned Parenthood -- quoting -- we believe -- we firmly believe that every person has the right to live, to work, and to raise a family freely and without the threat of deportation or separation. And we will never stop fighting for this vision.

Cecile, you should know one thing, we believe that every person has a right to live and not be separated from their parent forcefully. We will stand on behalf of the unborn because at least the Dreamers can speak up for themselves. The 328,348 babies that your organization killed last year never had that chance.

WATCH: This is the Maybach Ultimate Luxury SUV (2020)

Mercedes-Benz is presenting the Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury. The design of the crossover, based on an exclusive high-end saloon and an SUV, follows the philosophy of Sensual Purity.

The show car combines the comfort and typical strengths of both body styles. These include the raised seating position and the athletic looks. The Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury is conceived as an electric car. Thanks to its four compact permanent-magnet synchronous motors, it offers fully variable all-wheel drive. The output from the powertrain is 550 kW (750 horsepower). The flat underfloor battery has a usable capacity of around 80 kWh, producing an NEDC range of over 500 kilometres (according to EPA: over 200 miles). The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155mph).

The fast-charging function is also convenient: thanks to DC charging based on the CCS standard, the system allows a charging capacity of up to 350 kW. In just five minutes, enough power can be charged to achieve an additional range of around 100 kilometres (62 miles).
