A bunny named Marlon Bundo is the latest victim of attacks from the far Left.
Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, have a black and white pet bunny rabbit named Marlon Bundo. He is a popular bunny, with close to 23,000 followers on Instagram.
One of the Pence’s daughters, Charlotte, wrote a children’s book that went on sale this week, titled Marlon Bundo's: A Day in the Life of the Vice President. All jokes aside about how exciting a day in the life of a Vice President actually is, the book is skillfully illustrated by Karen Pence, who is an accomplished watercolor painter.
In the book, Marlon Bundo narrates a tour of the White House and the Vice President’s house. It sounds like harmless, kid fun, plus a portion of the proceeds are being donated to a nonprofit that fights human trafficking, and an art therapy program at a children’s hospital.
Even though the book is non-political, it has been targeted by the radical Left. Why? Because Marlon Bundo’s owner (actually, we'd better call him caretaker), Mike Pence, committed the unpardonable sin of supporting the Religious Freedom Restoration Act when he was governor of Indiana. That act was immediately spun as being anti-gay, which it wasn’t, and branded Pence a bigot for life.
Now, in the never-ending vengeance of the far Left, comedian John Oliver has joined the attack...
The villain in the book is a Mike Pence lookalike named Stink Bug who tries to stop gay marriage.
On Monday, fans of John Oliver spammed the real Marlon Bundo page on Amazon with one-star reviews and crude comments.
Why is the Left so mocking and cruel toward Mike Pence? When they hate Trump with such intense passion, you would think that the buttoned-up Pence would be their favorite Republican. The Left hammers Trump 24-7 for all his moral failures, then hammers Pence for being so old-fashioned and square that he would do things like try to remain faithful to his wife.
If the Left had their dream come true and Trump was impeached, they know Pence would become president, right? Chances are, the vitriol would spew toward Pence with just as much force.
