White House Correspondents' Dinner: Hasn't this thing run its course yet?

Leave it to the "comedians" from the Daily Show to typify SJW humor. Michelle Wolf, the comedian with a voice like a police siren, took her hacky comedian routine to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner --- and, seriously, it was physically painful to listen to for 11 minutes.

Most of Wolf’s routine was crass and aggressively anti-PC, but in that way that progressives are somehow okay with. Like her bullying remarks about White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was onstage for the event and took the derision with poise.

We saw this recently with Jimmy Kimmel's nasty remarks about Melania Trump --- it comes as no surprise that Kimmel and Kathy Griffin have praised Michele Wolf's remarks.

CNN actually called out Wolf --- in one part of the article, at least.

"Being funny is one thing. Bullying people because you can is another. And Wolf's treatment of Sanders was bullying."

Largely, though, places like the New York Times and the Washington Post have written glowing defenses of Wolf. Free speech isn't the issue here. Who cares what a crude, obnoxious comedian with a voice like nails on a chalkboard over a megaphone says? She can say whatever she wants. The issue is that progressives and the mainstream media are so virulently hypocritical about it.

Where's the PC brigade now?

Where's the PC brigade now? Why aren't they or their army of offended snowflakes out on the street with protest signs and macramé hats in the shape of vulvas? These are the same people who throw a tantrum or lead a country-wide protest every time Trump says anything they disagree with, then label him any number of pejoratives. How is it fine for the left to do it?

They've led a crusade against "offensive comedy," they have formed entire international movements premised on women's rights, they've railed against bullying and misogyny and offensive language and dozens of others types of “triggering phenomena,” yet when they see someone from the left doing literally all of those things at the same time, they not only give it a pass, they rally around it.

No wonder President Trump doesn't attend the dinners. And his remarks on the dinner were fairly spot-on:

It does no good for us to fall into the same negative feedback loop of outrage. When something is funny, it's funny. Even if you don't agree with it. And Wolf, despite her cringe-inducing roast, actually landed a few funny lines.

She's no Dave Chapelle, but she definitely has her funny moments. Like this gem:

WARNING: Strong language.

As politicians and the mainstream media continue to insist that America is divided and at each other's throats, Dr. Ben Carson has a different message. He joined the "Glenn Beck Podcast" this week to discuss his time in the Trump administration and how we move forward and heal America. Overall, he says, we must realize "Americans are NOT each other's enemies."

Does parody even exist anymore? Filmmaker Ami Horowitz recently went to Yale University to ask students to sign his 'petition' to repeal the U.S. Constitution — and they actually did it!

Ami joined Glenn Beck on "Glenn TV" recently to describe how this wasn't just a few people — this was 65 percent of those he asked, and NO ONE seemed to think it was a bad idea.

The far left is tearing apart the social fabric of our country in the name of "progress." From its emphasis on government dependency, to the $15 minimum wage, to the embrace of Marxist Critical Race Theory in our schools, the Left is destroying our culture and way of life.

On Glenn TV this week, Glenn Beck spoke with Christopher Rufo, director of the Center on Wealth and Poverty, about the latest insane example of the Marxist lies destroying the minds of our kids: A New York school sent parents a "white identities" chart advocating for "white traitors" and "white abolitionists."

There is an all-out assault on the social fabric of our country. The kids are NOT all right. In the name of "progress," we're destroying their minds with Marxist lies. In the name of "safety," we're destroying their souls by keeping them locked down.

On his Glenn TV special this week, Glenn Beck takes on the national suicide that the Left is committing by destroying our culture and way of life and how it's also leading to actual suicide of our kids. Experts on the front lines expose how the lies of critical race theory are crippling our children's future and provide tools for parents to fight back.

Finally, Glenn hears from a parent who tragically lost his teen son, who took his own life due to COVID isolation. He has a powerful message for parents, teachers, and politicians who he says are failing our kids.
