Governor Tim Walz is a dud. As Glenn has covered, "Tampon Tim" is a far-left radical with a spotty track record. Walz dropped the ball on his state's COVID-19 response, installed tampon dispensers in the boys' restrooms at public schools, and watched as his cities burned during the 2020 BLM riots, among other things. Usually, when a presidential candidate picks a Vice President, they choose someone who represents a different demographic within their party to broaden their appeal. But Walz is every bit as radical as Kamala—plus he represents a solid blue state. Why would Kamala pick him, especially when there were better candidates?
Candidates such as Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro would have been a much better option. Many people considered him the leading VP choice because he would have balanced out Kamala's ticket. Governor Shaperio is popular in his state and has a good track record. He handled the disastrous I-95 bridge collapse and East Palestine train derailment (which had effects within his state). Most importantly, he is the governor of Pennsylvania, a state that Biden only won by a tiny margin in 2020. Kamala needs the support from Shapiro's critical swing state more than she needs the support from Minnesota. So why would she pick Walz?
Could it be because Shapiro is Jewish?
More than likely it's because Shapiro is Jewish. The Harris campaign has decided to cater to the radical left progressives, like the pro-Hamas protestors that took over college campuses last fall, rather than choose the most competent contender merely because he is Jewish. These antisemitic radicals branded Shapiro as "Genocide Josh" to dissuade Kamala from picking him as a running mate. Governor Shapiro earned this nickname after it was revealed that he did volunteer work on an Israeli Defence Force army base when he was in college. At no point was he a part of the IDF or engaged in any military activity.
Kamala's priorities are clear: she is more concerned over her to appeal to the radical Islamists, like her friends in the Squad than for her to pick a competent VP. Kamala has decided to ally herself with the unreasonable, radical, socialist, antisemitic far-left extreme of her party, and it can only be assumed that that is the direction she wants to lead the country as well. This November is our last chance to turn things around. America must vote againsta Harris-Walz presidency.
