          Fallon moved from hosting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to the earlier Tonight-show time slot. Late-night is edgier, originative and less politically correct. The Tonight Show is more conservative.

            Jay Leno was under NBC’s thumb, as NBC is owned by General Electric. General Electric’s CEO (Jeffrey Imelt) is also one of Oblamo’s cabinet members, something to do with “employment opportunities” which is probably why that commodity is in short supply.
            In the last few few weeks of the Tonight show, Jay Leno t’d off on Oblamo quite a bit more, blasting Obama-Care and the administration. They had already fired him so what else could they do??

    I never understood why people flipped out when Fallon took over for the tonight show and said it’d be strictly liberal humor. If anything, he’s more welcoming to conservatives than his predecessor. People forget that Leno harangued Michele Bachmann because she didn’t support gay marriage. Yet, she was welcomed and treated pleasantly when she was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (and Questlove was nearly fired for the insulting entry music for her, *and* Jimmy Fallon personally called and apologized to her).

    Unlike Conan O’Brien, Fallon likely realizes that conservatives watch late night television too and you’re likely to have a better show with better ratings if you play the peanut gallery instead of advocating for one side and alienating half your audience.

    I was drafted at 19. I ets’d at 21. When in the field your weapon was locked and loaded. On post in the States you didn’t have your weapon unless you went to the field for live fire.You weren’t issued ammo until you went to the firing line.After firing you showed an open breech with no ammo. Only once was I issued a weapon to protect a stateside Army Post.We were issued our weapons and ammo before we left the Company.That was Commie Day better known as May Day.We went to every possible place the post could be accessed and points they didn’t think accessible.And our weapons were locked and loaded.We were manned our post for 24 plus hours.The only place there was a problem for all that was main gate.There were I heard about 100 demonstrators main gate.One of the kids with us was mad he didn’t get to shoot somebody. This is truly tragic what has happened at Ft.Hood.I don’t believe even this will cause D.O.D. or J.C.S. or the so called commander in chief to do away with that.For one thing command does not want a ticked off troop with a loaded weapon…Just my two cents worth.For what its worth.You know what opinions are like.
