Glenn, tens of thousands of patriots, gather Restoring Love

2012 was perhaps the biggest election year in our lifetime - but not for the reasons most would assume. While there was universal agreement among conservatives and republicans that Barack Obama must be defeated, that wasn’t the most important thing that needed to be addressed. Glenn has talked repeatedly over the course of the year about how the problem isn’t limited to just democrats or republicans - it’s the entire government as a whole. It’s grown far too massive in size and scope and we’ve allowed ourselves to fall into the trap that when we see a problem we assume someone else will take care of it. The problem, of course, is that ‘someone else’ has turned into the federal government. So what’s the the best way - even better than defeating Obama - to stop the onslaught of a nanny state government? Love. It’s as simple as that. Instead of waiting for the government to go help the elderly person across the street - you do it. Instead of wondering if that homeless person has something to eat - give them some food. Glenn challenged the audience to descend in Dallas at Cowboys Stadium, participate in the largest day of service in history, and then gather at the stadium to make a statement to the world. The people showed up in amazing numbers, as the video and the pictures will attest to, and Glenn gave one of the most amazing speeches you’ll see anywhere - not to mention great musical performances from Matt Maher, Kari Jobe and others.
