The Kurds Stand Alone in Their Fight for Independence

What happened

Iraqi Kurds voted Monday to become their own independent state. Iraq, Iran, Syria and Turkey are not about to let that happen.

Does this affect us?

Well, according to Glenn, “It’s going to play a huge role in the life or death of Christians and possibly Christianity in the Middle East.”

 Isn’t that being a bit … dramatic?

What? Glenn, dramatic? Okay, so we admit that Glenn can be a bit intense at times, but take a listen to what he’s saying in this video. We think he just might have a point.

Here’s a mini recap:

“The Kurds are saying, ‘We want our own independent state.’ Well, nobody in the Middle East wants them to have their own independent state…. And these are the people who I think are the best in the Middle East … they have been the ones helping us rescue the Christians [from ISIS.]” He added, “Turkey is putting tanks on their border now getting ready to roll in. You have Iran ready to roll in. Iraq is ready to roll in, and so is Syria. And I don’t think we [the US] are going to help.”
